The SCT2323 is 2A synonous buck converter with 3.8V to 32V input range. Its output voltage is fixed at 3.3V to minimize external component counts. The device is EMI friendly features 20uA ultra-low quiescent operating current. The device fully integrates a 140mΩ high-side MOSFET a 70mΩ low-side MOSFET to provide high efficiency step-down DCDC conversion. The Pulse Skipping Modulation (PSM) with 20uA ultra-low quiescent current improves the power efficiency up to 88% at 5mA load. The SCT2323 implements Frequency Spread Spectrum (FSS) with ±6% jittering span of the 1.1MHz switching Frequency Spread Spectrum (FSS) with ±6% jittering span modulation rate 1/512 of switching frequency to reduce Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). The device has proprietary designed gate driver to achieve switching node ringing-free without sacrificing MOSFET on/off time further erasing high frequency radiation EMI caused by hard switching. The SCT2323 adopts peak current mode control with the internal integrated compensation network, which makes it easy to be used by minimizing the off-chip component count. The SCT2323 features output over-voltage protection, cycle-by-cycle peak current limit, thermal shutdown protection. The device is available in a low-profile TSOT23-6 package.
